CCD Religious Education 2022-2023

REGISTRATION FOR 2022-2023 CLASSES

Sunday, August 28th and Sunday, September 4th

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall

Classes will be offered at 10:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.


Classes and Orientation being on

Sunday September 11th


CCD Classes offered this year are:

-First Communion (Ages 7-8)

-Old Testament (Ages 8-9)

-New Testament (Ages 9 - 10)

-Confirmation A (Ages 10 - 11)

-Confirmation B (Ages 11 -12)

-Fundamentals of the Faith (Ages 12 - 17)

(only 10 a.m.)

Preparation for the proper reception of the Sacraments is of the utmost importance in the life of our youth. Learn about the requirements for enrolling your child in sacramental preparation classes below.

First Holy Communion and First Confession Classes

  • Children must be at least seven years old and must be in the second grade.

  • A photocopy of the child’s baptismal certificate must be presented at the time of registration.

  • Text—Ignatius Press Faith and Life series, grade 2, and selected materials

Confirmation Class A

  • Children must have made their First Communion.

  • A photo of the child’s baptismal certificate must be presented at the time of registration.

  • Text—Ignatius Press Faith and Life series, grade 6

Confirmation Class B

  • Children must have made their First Communion.

  • A photo of the child’s baptismal certificate must be presented at the time of registration.

  • Text—Ignatius Press Faith and Life series, grade 7

Fundementals of the Faith

  • Children must have made their Confirmation

  • Texts will be provided

Completion of both Confirmation Classes A and B are required to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
